Jeep AX15 Gear Replacement Parts
The Jeep AX15, manufactured by Aisin, was used in the Jeep XJ Cherokee, MJ Comanche and Wrangler (TJ and YJ) beginning in 1988. It was used until 1999 in the Wrangler and Cherokee, at which time it was replaced by the New Venture Gear (NV) 3550. It was used in conjunction with two engine models – AMC 242 (4.0L inline 6-cylinder) and AMC 258 (4.2L inline 6-cylinder). The AX15 was mated to two different transfer cases – the NP231 and NP207.

These gears are appropriate for use in 1990-2000 Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee and also Dodge Dakota.
