Allstate Gear's Borg Warner 4405 transfer case rebuild kits and parts are similar to BW 4404 case parts that fit manual Ford models that provide torque upon demand, have a full-time chain drive, and have two-piece magnesium housings. This differs from a BW 4404 in that it is not a part-time system, meaning it is not dual natured; however, they are both all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems. When in the automatic mode, they can transfer the torque between the front and rear shafts so the vehicle can drive at highway speeds full time in AWD.
