GM NV4500 Shifters, Shifter Assemblies and Shift Towers
The NV4500 is a five-speed manual transmission used in GM trucks from 1992 to 2007. This transmission was used in two-wheel-drive 2500 and 3500 trucks starting in 1992, then offered with four-wheel-drive versions of these trucks starting in 2001. The GM NV4500 shifter is built into a tower held on by four bolts that go into the top of the transmission case. This makes it easy to replace or rebuild.
