The bearing I purchased was a replacement for my F150 transmission. The original was marked with a number that was for 40mm ID, but the actual size was 37mm. The only two places I found the correct replacement were Ford and Allstate Gear Inc. Ford would only sell the bearing along with a new tail shaft housing for $260. Allstate sent me the part for $23, shipping included. I' m happy.
