NP246 Transfer Case Rebuild Kit

This NP246 transfer case rebuild kit has everything you need to restore your early- to mid-2000s Chevy 1500, Tahoe or Suburban 4x4 transfer case. Our NP246 rebuild kit also fits GMC 4x4 models, including the Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL. This kit includes bearings, seals, a chain and output side case half.

Why is a case half included in an NP246 rebuild kit? The factory case half is made of magnesium, while the pump is made of aluminum. Over time, the harder aluminum stresses and eventually cracks the magnesium. Even if your case isn’t leaking, it’s a good idea to replace the case half during the rebuild.
