The New Venture Gear 4500 (NV4500) 5-speed manual transmission was a popular transmission used on Dodge pickup trucks between 1991 and 2006. This was a strong, reliable transmission with one slight weak point: the factory-installed 1-1/4” input shaft. We have what you need to fix that problem.

For those wanting to increase the strength of their Dodge NV4500, we offer this 1-3/8 NV4500 input shaft upgrade kit, which includes all the NV4500 input shaft replacement parts you'll need to complete the job. This 1-3/8 NV4500 input shaft repair kit can be used to replace your factory-installed input shaft and also interchanges or replaces the South Bend ISK1.735 input shaft.
