New Venture 4500 (NV4500) Transmission Shim Kits
If you’re having trouble with shaft angles or end play in your Dodge NV4500 transmission, you can fix these problems by installing shim kit parts. We offer main shaft and countershaft shim kits, as well as master shim kits with everything you need to align both shafts. Shim adjustments are often necessary when installing Dodge transmission repair parts, as they may differ slightly from the original components.
Our NV4500 shim kits fit all versions of this transmission. This includes gearboxes used in Dodge and GM trucks from 1991 to 2007, and both the NV4500HD used in Cummins and V10 Magnum-powered Dodges and the NV4500LD used in all other applications.
