Chrysler started using the NV5600 in 1998, and introduced a revised version for 2000 model year trucks. The NV5600 synchronizer kits on this page only fit those later gearboxes. The NV5600 was used in Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups equipped with a Cummins diesel engine. It was used in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive trucks.
