Shorter throws make shifting any transmission feel better, especially this transmission. The NV4500 is known for long, imprecise throws that make it easy to miss gears. By changing the fulcrum point of the lever, this shifter kit reduces throws by 20%. This makes shifting faster while adding feel for increased accuracy. While the NV4500 was used in a range of GM and Dodge trucks, the kit on this page only fits 1998 and later Dodge 2500 and 3500 trucks.
