NV4500 Shift Tower Assembly Kits

Is the shift tower assembly in your Dodge Ram making the lever feel sloppy? Do you feel like you’re not sure if you’re getting the transmission into gear? Replace your old tower with a new NV4500 shift assembly kit from Allstate Gear. This NV4500 shift tower replaces your old worn-out unit, removing slack in the pivot that can make it hard to shift gears. This kit includes new bolts and washers. All you need to supply is your old shifter stick and knob.

Dodge started using the NV4500 transmission in 1995. The NV4500 shifter on this page is designed for four-bolt square shift tops used in transmissions starting in 1998.

It works and took care of my issue of having difficult shifting.  It was not quite the same as OEM because it extended the shift stick an addition 1.25".  It's no big deal now that I'm using it, but though it might feel odd having the shift knob a bit closer.
