Fits GM 2wd drive models. This kit does not carry the rear seal for
4wd models.

Is your classic GM truck transmission leaking? Fix the leaks by installing this SM465 gasket kit. This kit has the gaskets and seals you need to seal the case on a two-wheel-drive SM465 transmission. If you have a 4WD transmission, you need a different rear seal.

The Chevy SM465 was used in the company’s vehicles from 1968 to 1991. It came in a variety of ½ ton to 1 ½ ton trucks and SUVs. In some factory documents, this transmission was also called the CH-465. Thanks to its availability, gearing and reputation for reliability, this transmission is also a popular choice for off-road builds.

Even during Covid things were slow to ship but they all showed up and installed well!! But they come shipped in a bag and of course USPS doesn’t care and caused a few slight rips and creases in my gaskets. But overall. All good
