98-01 Ram 1500 July 29, 2023 Reviewer: Book Autowerks from Hutto, TX   This fits the 98-01 Ram 1500, which is different from the other 2nd gens. This replacement is perfect if your shifter is completely bused, but I don't think it's quite as tight as the original factory ones. Factory one isn't available anymore, tho... Good part, great service September 19, 2019 Reviewer: John Terpack from Arlington, TX United States   For the record, I installed this in my '04 even though it says '98-'02 only. It fits perfectly, works perfectly, but it is definitely not identical to the factory original. The stub shaft is bent differently. It doesn't interfere with shifting, but it does move the shift knob slightly. I've been driving it for a week with no problems at all. Was this review helpful to you?
