Short shifter nv4500 November 6, 2023 Reviewer: Richard Wilson from Jensen Beach, FL United States   Install only took 15 mins. Shifter is very tight and firm. Short Shifter July 25, 2023 Reviewer: Chris K from CT   Really made a difference.  Shifts are much tighter and have less throw.  Took all the slop my old shifter had out.  Only thing I'm getting used to is the stick sits lower and at a steeper angle, so 2nd gear for me lands right near my knee.  If it becomes a problem I'll just torch the shifter stud and bend it, but I'm getting used to it.  Much more relaxed shifting than before where I had to move my arm a lot. NV4500 Short Throw shift tower May 9, 2022 Reviewer: Jay Ramey from USA   Had all the parts, looked of quality, arrived in 2 days, installing was a breeze and I can’t even tell you how much better it is over stock. Shift’s beautifully with a much tighter pattern. Also moves the shifter closer to the drivers knee making it more comfortable. Would definitely put on any other cummins with the 5 speed. Shifting did not become harder because of the throw either, just took a few days to learn the tighter pattern. 10/10 recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
