Like an F1 car shifter October 3, 2024 Reviewer: HS from United States   Shifts like an F1 car!  JK, but it was an easy install/upgrade and eliminated all the sloppiness from the stock shifter. Seems well manufactured but only time will tell. Certainly worth the money so far. Delivery was prompt and the cost was reasonable. Recommended if you like smooth shifting. SHORT THROW SHIFTER NV 5600 September 17, 2023 Reviewer: ROBERT from USA   WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN PRECISION INTO THE GATES , WITH THE STOCK SHIFTER I WAS CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR 3RD GEAR, TRANS IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE TRUCK ONLY HAS 129000 MILES ON IT. NOW IT IS SO MUCH EASIER TO DRIVE.  THERE IS A COMPETITOR WITH A SIMILER PRODUCT ON THE MARKET THAT COSTS $ 300 AND YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OLD SHIFT TOWER AND BUSHINGS WITH ALLSTATE GEARS KIT YOU GET A COMPLETE PACKAGE FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE. IT'S A NO BRAINER BUYING THIS INSTEAD OF THE OTHER KIT, YOU KNOW THE ONE I'M TALKING ABOUT. IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY STANDARD TRANSMISSIONS I WILL BE CALLING ALLSTATE FOR PARTS OR REPLACEMENTS. Excellent August 31, 2023 Reviewer: Rocky Box144 Rockwell from Cahone, CO United States   Arrived very quickly. It does what it's supposed to do and costs 1/3 of what other companies want. Plus this comes with a brand new plastic housing and internals. So you don't have to disassemble like other companies want you to do with their product. I measured from top of shifter to center console in 2nd gear to see if there would be much improvement. Stock was about 6" apart with the new short throw shifter it was a little over 3.75". I also suggest replacing your transmission fluid while doing this install and pour in the transmission fluid from the top of the transmission. All in all a good product. NV5600 6 Speed Short throw shifter kit for NV5600- July 30, 2023 Reviewer: Nicholas Martin from Philomath, OR United States   Excellent service, super fast shipping with tracking info and the kit comes with everything you need parts wise. Was a complete bolt in replacement for me 2004.5 Dodge 2500 Cummins. Only thin you might need is some RVT gasket macker. Kit come with everything pictured as a complete set bolt on ready replacement and works great compared to stock if you are looking for a tighter shorter shift pattern. I got this when I changed my transmission fluid and wanted to add another quart from 4 to 5. I couldn't be happier and at then half the cost of the BD-power kit that I was looking at, that re-uses your stock shift tower and lower isolator bushing. Was this review helpful to you?

NV5600 short throw shift tower for ‘03 Ram July 26, 2023 Reviewer: Rodney Godwin from Athens, TX United States   I ordered the short throw shift tower from Allstate although I had never seen one.    I was about to change the transmission oil and the timing was perfect.   Easy transaction & fast shipping.   The install consisted of 4 bolts and was super simple but the difference it made in shifting the transmission and finding gears is amazing and i highly recommend for any nv5600 transmission.    There is now no slop in the stick.  The gear pattern is smaller and much tighter and definetly an upgrade.  Very pleased Was this review helpful to you?
