The T56 6-speed manual transmission has been installed in a variety of GM and Ford vehicles as well as Dodge RAM, Dodge Viper and two Aston Martin models, the DB7 Vantage and the V12 Vanquish. Originally designed and manufactured by BorgWarner in 1992 for the Dodge Viper (1992-2007), from 1998 on it was built by Tremec Corporation.
