While synchros are the most common wear item on manual transmissions, shift forks also face substantial friction. Once they wear down, they can’t engage the synchros smoothly, resulting in harsh gear engagement. We carry OEM SRT5 clutch forks that are machined to the tight tolerances required for smooth shifts. Keep in mind that each version of the T850 has slightly different internal components. Your T850 shift fork replacement has to be made specifically for the SRT5 version of this gearbox.
